Ding Chunxiang, General Manager of Shenghong Ligend Power, gave a detailed report on the progress of the project’s current work and important milestones. He stated that with the strong support of the two level specialized teams in the urban area, and with the continuous empowerment and strong support of Shenghong Holdings Group, the construction of Shenghong Ligend Power’s Zhangjiagang Energy Storage Super Factory follows Chairman Miao Hangen’s requirements and revolves around the three dimensions of “safety, quality, and progress”, We are turning our dreams into reality at an unconventional pace. At present, the project has obtained all construction permits for the production area; Along with the rapid construction of basic engineering, equipment solutions and process routes are also being repeatedly discussed to ensure the benchmark and competitiveness of the Zhangjiagang Super Factory project in all aspects.
Han Wei pointed out that in order to smoothly promote the project, the enterprise has done a lot of effective work, fully reflecting the “Shenghong speed”; The refined services provided by relevant sectors and departments, which are “24/7, comprehensive, and full process”, demonstrate the “Zhangjiagang speed” of the project’s full promotion. Han Wei encourages enterprises to accelerate project construction progress while ensuring project quality and safety, striving for early completion, production, and effectiveness, and achieving greater breakthroughs in the field of energy storage. Relevant districts, towns, and departments should proactively provide advanced services, plan ahead around key nodes of project construction, and provide strong support for project progress.
The overall planned production capacity of the Shenghong Ligend Power Storage Battery Super Factory project is 60GWh, with a total investment of 30.6 billion yuan. It aims to create an integrated base for the research and development, testing and certification, and production and manufacturing of new energy storage batteries and systems. After reaching the production capacity, the revenue will reach 56 billion yuan, driving the employment of over 20000 people. The first phase of the 24GWh project and the independent new energy battery research institute have a total investment of 14 billion yuan, with an expected annual revenue of 24 billion yuan after reaching the production capacity.
